The chassis 6x2 is intended for installation of a platform, a tilt-covered or rigid body, and also various special equipment. The chassis can be used as a single car, or as part of a road train.

At the moment, all the cars of the joint venture fully comply with the requirements of the European rules and Directives, including the UNECE Regulations on the norms regulating the level of exhaust and noise.
Fuel economy
Modern MAZ-MAN cars feature low fuel consumption, which is achieved through the use of high-performance MAN engines of the latest generation D20 (Germany) and the optimally selected ZF transmission.
Individual approach

Engine
The phenomenon characteristic of MAZ-MAN vehicles was always the original German engine of MAN concern.
Chassis 6x2 equipped with diesel engines MAN series D2066 with a capacity of 400 - 440 horsepower with a torque of 1900 - 2100 Nm, ecological class Euro-4 and Euro-5. In the engines there is a function of limiting and maintaining of the set speed (Tempomat), as well as an electronic limiter of a maximum speed of 85 km/h.

Transmission

Transmissions in the chassis are 6x2 16-step + 2 transfer reverse gears, synchronized, with splitter and cable control drive.
Clutch single dry plate, with hydraulic control and air leg, produced by "Valeo" or "F & S" (Germany). Telescopic cardan shafts with joints of the West European standard size.
The front axle is a camber beam with needle bearing in pivot connections. Drive axle with interlock differential lock, with planetary five-satellite hub wheel drives.
Carrying axle used for single rear wheels which lowers automatically when max load tolerable on rear axle is achieved.
Fuel system
A Fuel tank of 300,500,700 liters with strainer is installed on the left side. In addition to the fine fuel filters, a fuel water separator with heating “Separ 2000” is mounted on the frame.
Frame
The reinforced frame HD (Heavy Duty) with reinforcements in the loaded places is made from the U-profile profile spars at the MAZ-MAN enterprise. In the manufacture of the frame, bolted connections of increased strength class, cold riveting are used. On the frame there are brackets for mounting of the top frame for installation of the specialized equipment (van)
