JV SAO “MAZ‑MAN” is already a shipbuilder!

On the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus, in Brest, on the Mukhavets River, JV SAO “MAZ‑MAN” demonstrated for the first time a built electric‑powered catamaran.

Catamarans are widely used in water tourism, sports, recreational sailing, as well as for cargo transportation, fishing, and other purposes.

The design of the catamaran built by the JV SAO “MAZ‑MAN” ensures increased stability on the water, excellent maneuverability and load capacity compared to similar monohull vessels.

For the manufacturer, the JV SAO “MAZ‑MAN” represents a new step in shipbuilding and the development of water transport powered by electric engines. The catamaran, weighing about 4 tons, is capable of reaching a speed of 20 km/h on the water surface and can carry up to 12 people.

Thus, the catamaran built by the JV SAO “MAZ‑MAN” represents a modern, innovative solution for tourism, recreation, and other urban infrastructure.
