MAZ-MAN JV SAO took part in the XIII International Forum “Arctic: Present and Future” from December 7 to 8 in St. Petersburg in the IEC “Expoforum”.
The Forum traditionally presented the most large-scale business program on Arctic topics. At the forum during 50 sessions in 11 thematic areas more than 500 speakers from the representatives of government, business, business circles, science and non-profit organizations worked out solutions for the development of one of the most important macro-regions. MAZ-MAN CJSC management took part in the plenary session of the Forum and a number of thematic sections, where the problems of design and operation of vehicles in climatic conditions of the Arctic were discussed now and in the future. The total number of Forum participants exceeded 2000 people from different regions of Russia, Belarus and foreign countries.
Traditionally, the Forum was complemented by the exhibition program. The exposition area was about 2000 square meters. Russian regions and major companies working in the Arctic presented their projects. The exhibitors demonstrated innovative solutions for socio-economic, technological and technical development of the modern Arctic of Russia.
The stand of MAZ-MAN JV CJSC presented a serial snowmobile of the second generation MAZMAN BTB – 200. Thanks to its brutal-futuristic design and reasonable ergonomics, the snowmobile caused the visitors of the stand – representatives of the authorities, law enforcement agencies, medicine, business, business circles, and other representatives of the Arctic and Arctic countries – to be attracted by the snowmobile.
