Forestry MAZ-MAN equipment
It is installed on chassis: “MAZ-MAN”, “MAZ”, “MAN” and others.
MAZ-MAN superstructure is made of high-strength steel coated with hot zinc and represents a base of two longitudinal members, to which U-shaped spars, so-called conics, are attached from above. The superstructure itself is attached directly to the vehicle frame. In modern MAZ-MAN models the cones are made with the possibility of longitudinal movement along the frame for optimal load retention. One package (bundle) of assortment should be inside at least two pairs of cones. But the more cones hold the bundle of assorted material, the more securely the load is held. At the same time it must be possible to load/unload the assortment without hindrance. The cones are arranged so that it is convenient to load, transport and unload both 2-meter, 4-meter and 6-meter assortment.

The production of MAZ-MAN™ vehicles, as before, is carried out according to the German technology. MAZ-MAN trucks in modern realities are completed with foreign units and equipment, which are produced in different countries of the world under license or under control of “MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AG” concern.
Specifications
The MAZ-MAN sorting superstructure is equipped with protective covers that do not allow branches, stones, pieces of ice, other foreign objects to get on rotating and unprotected parts of MAZ-MAN vehicle (wheels, brake chambers, cardan shafts, hoses, wiring, etc.).
The MAZ-MAN sorting superstructure is also equipped with tie-down devices for securing the assortment and troughs for folding the CMU into the transport position.
The shield installed behind the cab is made in two versions at the customer’s request: iron with a basket for grapple gripper or aluminum.
